Member Recognition Awards

Our Awards

CBM Awards recognize individuals and banks that have made significant and noteworthy contributions to the community banking industry. We currently offer two awards for our members--one for individuals and one for banks--in recognition of their accomplishments.

The Legacy of Community Banking Awards recognizes individuals who have given 50 or more years of service to banking.

The Flag Presentations honor banks that have remained operational 100 years or more.

Legacy of Community Banking Award

The Legacy of Community Banking Award recognizes people employed at ICBM member banks who have given 50 years of service to banking. Honorees are recognized with a crystal statuette marking their accomplishments and contributions.

Eligible nominees are inducted each year at the ICBM Annual Convention. If a nominee cannot be present at the convention, the award will be presented at their respective bank.

To nominate someone for the 2017 Legacy Award, to be presented in a ceremony at the 55th ICBM Annual Convention, fill out and send in the form below or contact Kathy at kburton@icbm.org

Nominations are due by June 30, 2017. A nomination form is available here.

Flag Presentations

The American Flag has long been a symbol of freedom, prosperity, and independence, and it serves as a reminder of achieving and protecting those values. In that spirit, ICBM recognizes Minnesota banks that represent those same values and have succeeded in doing so for a century or more.

Flag Presentation

Since the Flag Presentations began in 2004, ICBM has marked member banks' milestone anniversaries by honoring them in their 100th, 125th, and 150th years with an American Flag and display case. Each year, an ICBM representative presents the American Flag to the bank during or near its anniversary celebration.
